Epstein victims give Trump ultimatum: “We’ll compile our own list and seek justice on our own”

Several women who were abused by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein say they are ready to take matters into their own hands if Congress and the Trump administration fail to provide full transparency on the unreleased Epstein files.

According to a Tuesday report from NBC News, multiple accusers — along with relatives of another victim — have signaled they may escalate their efforts to push the government into releasing all remaining documents tied to Epstein’s two federal cases. NBC spoke with six women who alleged they were assaulted by Epstein and his close associate Ghislaine Maxwell when they were teenagers or in their early twenties.

Accusers Wendy Avis, Marijke Chartouni, Jena-Lisa Jones, Lisa Phillips, and Liz Stein told the outlet that their demand was simple: they want Donald Trump to keep his campaign promise to make the files public. The New York Times has previously reported that the collection could contain as many as 100,000 pages. Jones, who said she was assaulted during a massage when she was just 14, recalled her experience.

“A lot of these powerful people think they’re in the clear, and they’re probably still doing it now,” Jones said.

“There were many, many adults around [Epstein’s] properties that may not have participated but very clearly knew what was going on,” she continued. “And they’re not saying anything, and why are they still not saying anything and speaking up on our behalf?”

Phillips, who described being groomed and abused on Epstein’s private island at 21, suggested that if Congress and Trump’s Department of Justice do not act, survivors may release more names themselves. Though she did not specify who might be implicated, she made clear that lists already exist.

“A lot of us survivors know we’ve been compiling lists of our own, and we have so many other survivors,” Phillips told NBC. “Please come forward, and we’ll compile our own list and seek justice on our own. I mean, I think that’s what’s going to happen next.”
