Biden’s public appearances show him smiling and steady, while Trump looks worse than Biden despite his attacks on age and health

After Donald Trump was seen publicly for the first time in several days following a brief absence, new images of former U.S. President Joe Biden have begun circulating online, with many drawing comparisons between the two men as both continue to face questions over their health.

In recent weeks, the 79-year-old president has appeared in public with noticeable swelling around his ankles, a heavily bruised hand, and other visible signs that have fueled speculation about his cognitive condition. Reports also claim that a doctor recently warned Biden that his leg could face possible amputation after identifying a serious medical concern.

After Trump resurfaced on the golf course following his unexplained disappearance, some observers remarked that he did not appear to be in peak health either. One user on X shared a side-by-side of the two, writing: “Joe Biden vs Donald Trump today. Speaks for itself, doesn’t it? When’s the media going to wake up about Trump’s failing health and give it even half the coverage they obsessed over with Biden?”

The post quickly went viral, as social media users debated which leader appeared worse off. Comments were divided, with one popular response reading: “Keep going The Don, the world needs you.” Another dismissed the speculation entirely, saying: “This is silly, the media just making stuff up. Trump may be getting a bit tired …”

Health disclosures have only added to the speculation. Trump was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that weakens the veins, most commonly in the legs, and restricts blood flow back toward the heart. While the illness is rarely fatal, it can cause significant discomfort and impact daily life.

Biden, on the other hand, publicly revealed his cancer diagnosis earlier this year in May. In a statement, he wrote: “Cancer touches us all.” He continued: “Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”

Despite his health challenges, Biden has remained active and is currently preparing a new book focused on his years in the White House.
